Savemore Employee Seeks Help From Netizens After Motorcycle Stolen Outside Workplace

A Savemore employee in Talisay City is asking for help after his motorcycle was stolen parked outside the establishment.

“Motornap” is a Filipino term for the crime of motorcycle theft. It combines “motor” (referring to motorcycles) with “nap” (short for “kidnap”), though in this context, it doesn’t involve actual kidnapping. Instead, it describes the act of stealing a motorcycle, often by force or without the owner’s permission.

In some cases, it might also refer to situations where thieves might quickly snatch a motorcycle in a way that resembles a “kidnap” because of the swift and bold manner in which the theft occurs.
