This is what Jackie said that impressed Vice Ganda and the other hosts.
When it come to relationship conversations, Jackie Gonzaga is an expert and recently, Vice Ganda got impressed when she said this.
It takes two to makes a relationship work but it would only take one to break it. When it comes to contentment in a relationship, this varies among people. We have different love languages, priorities, wants, needs, and desires but that one common denominator is we want to be loved completely.
In the recent episode of It’s Showtime’s segment “Expecially For You”, the hosts talked about this. Initially, they were talking about how fortunate one is to find a best friend in his or her partner and how great it would feel to have a safe space and someone to lean on with that person.
However, as they go deeper in their conversation, Vice Ganda asked if there’s any external testability to someone’s contentment. It puzzled the others but Jackie was able to pull off a beautiful and logical answer to it.
Contentment is such a broad topic but how can you be contented? Will you be contented if in your standard, your bare minimum is already your partner’s all-out love? Will you be okay in settling down to this and just forget the other parts of your standard?
She explained that contentment is based on the relationship and the person receiving it with other factors considered. If that person is already giving his all and still not enough for you, it’s up to you to appreciate it or not. What you feel is valid and this will determine the future of the relationship.
Vice was impressed and stressed that this is what happens when the pain of a person turns into his or her wisdom.
As much as we all know, Jackie and Tom Doromal have separated after seven years of being together.
