Can two ex-lovers becomes friends? Should you be friends with your ex? Can you really move on and live peacefully knowing that the person you once imagined to be your endgame ended up to be not the one?
Tears and pain scattered in places from pieces of a broken relationship but aside from this are the questions scattered around the pain of where it all went wrong. How it ended up to this messy and how it ended up in a heartbreaking ending. From here, you start to pick up the pieces and build yourself again but does this guarantee that once everything is back in its place the pain will be gone? Will this guarantee that all those “what ifs” lingering will be answered?
All these and more will be tackled in JoshLia’s movie “Un/happy For You”.
This is the reunion project of former reel and real-life couple Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. The latter actress has said it before people can expect pain and healing from this movie. It will deliver what heartbreaks means, where anger could lead to, and what regrets can do in the end.
Recently, the official trailer for their new film has been released and tensions were rising up between their characters Zy and Juancho.
In the more than 2-minute clip, it can be seen that Juancho tried to reconnect with Zy following the end of their 4-year relationship. However, things went downhill when Zy revealed to him that she is getting married.
This film of JoshLia comes after their previous films such as “Vince and Kath and James” in 2016, “Love You to the Stars and Back” in 2017, “I Love You, Hater” in 2018, and “Block Z” in 2020.
This will be show in theaters this August 14.
