PAGASA Says Easterlies to Bring Fair Weather Over Parts of PH

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that fair weather conditions will prevail over most parts of the country.

On Tuesday (July 9, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Rhea Torres reported that easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

It will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Isabela, and Cagayan. Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.
