In an interview, David Licauco admits this.

Kapuso actor David Licauco has admitted this about the critical and negative comments he is receiving regarding his acting skills.

The popularity of David Licauco rose following his role in “Maria Clara At Ibrarra”. His chemistry with actress Barbie Forteza was well-received by a lot of people and because of his role in MCAI, he received the moniker “Pambansang Ginoo”.

Their newest project together is a film called That Kind of Love which will be shown in cinemas this July 10.

Licauco, although not new in the entertainment industry, is still a bit new in acting and some people can’t seem to give him the grace with this fact. There are those who criticized him. During the mediacon of their upcoming film, he has admitted something about the bashing he receives as an actor.

According to him, this is the kind of bashing that sometimes gets into his nerves. He even wanted to reply at times and clap back to the rude comments. However, the Pambansang Ginoo also understands that they are entitled to make their own opinion.

He has accepted this but sometimes, whenever he’s having a bad day and receive comments like this, he feels annoyed.

“Nung birthday ko, may nakita ako. Birthday ko na nga, imbes na i-greet ako, sinabi sa akin, ‘Babanu-bano umarte,’” he said.

About his love team with Barbie, as long as their partnership onscreen still works, he will stay. He believes that how long their love team will last depends on the response and support of their fans.

He cannot determine yet if he’s ready to be separated from the love team as this is his comfort zone at the moment and for now, he wanted to stay in this comfort zone..
