Ivana Alawi Shares Lesson She Learned As A Content Creator

This is what Ivana Alawi learned doing this career.

IVANA ALAWI – The famous actress-vlogger has this learned this thing after years of being a content creator.

Among the most followed content creators in the Philippines is Ivana Alawi. She was first known by the public as an actress and after the encouragement received from her sister Mona, she jumped to vlogging. She is now juggling two careers – being an actress and a vlogger.

Her vlogs ranges from doing pranks, disguising herself to help kind-hearted people, their random days as a family, sit-down videos, mukbang, and among others. Her latest prank video was with the Capinpin brothers but her newest vlog is ordering the same items as the people in front of them have in drive-throughs and paying the order of the vehicle behind them.

She’s been years in the field of content creating and if there’s one thing she learned from this, it would have to be not reading the comments. Just like the others, she used to clap back to the negative comments she received when she was just starting. She received comments like “hubadera lang” and “puro retoke”.

But through the years, she learned the art of “dedma” and this gave her peace. She used to read them but her manager taught her not to and she did. Whatever the bashers say doesn’t affect her anymore. She knew that she cannot please everybody but despite this, she just goes on doing what she does and not allow them to control her.

“Pero tuluy-tuloy lang ako. I don’t read comments na. Kung hindi nila gusto, salamat pa rin. Kasi kung papa-control ako sa kanila, anong maiisip kong content?” she said.

Regarding her content, she makes sure to share their authenticity. They don’t have a script or anything to follow. Her channel has become her venue to share her life with the people unfiltered.

As someone who is very successful and content creating, here’s her advice to those who are just starting or planning to start: “Be yourself. Believe in yourself. When it’s your time to shine, you will shine. Kunwari nag-start ka na and it’s not working, don’t give up kasi darating din ‘yung time mo.”
