Famous personality Nikko Natividad stands firm in his opinion about the Vice Ganda issue and reveals why he deleted his posts.
People online are still divided if what Vice Ganda and the other hosts did in calling our Axel making “beso” to Christine is right or wrong. This issue went viral online and many could not help but express their opinion to the issue.
One of them is Nikko Natividad, who, based on a previous article, have posts against Vice Ganda allegedly because of the issue. He justified the gesture of the male Searchee in a now-deleted Facebook post saying it wasn’t the guy’s intention to make the girl uncomfortable. However, it did make the female feel that way which made the comedian retract his apology to Axel.
Vice expressed in a statement that he is taking back the apology after hearing the real thoughts of the girl.
In Nikko’s post, he expressed his sympathy to the affected people as he himself has experienced power tripping and being humiliated on TV. His posts went viral and although it was now deleted, screenshots were made and circulated online.
In a new post, Natividad spoke about his deleted posts and according to him, it was the management’s decision to take it down. However, he remains firm with his stand regarding the matter. He did not regret posting it as it was his own opinion and he defended other people.
He knew that there’s a possibility of him losing his job but his post is intended to make a change and not to gain sympathy for him.
He also wrote, “Kasi ganun naman ang pamilya at kaibigan. Tatapikin ka kapag alam mong sumosobra o medyo nagkakamali na.Hindi po ako naghahanap ng kaaway, ang pagkakabura po ng post ko ay management decision, tunay at bukas sa isip at puso ko ang sinabi ko, payapa ang aking kalooban.”
