Woman Slams Male Passenger Over Lascivious Act Inside Modern Jeepney
A woman filed a complaint against a male passenger over lascivious act inside a crowded modern jeepney in Cebu.
Acts of lasciviousness refer to malicious behavior or actions that are offensive or inappropriate. It includes any form of unwanted advances, indecent touching, or gestures that violate another person’s dignity and integrity.

Recently, a man was arrested for alleged acts of lasciviousness at a modern jeepney in Cebu. As the vehicle was already packed with passengers, both the suspect and the victim were standing inside the modern jeepney.
The 19-year-old female student was standing alongside a 28-year-old man who later became the suspect apprehended by authorities due to the incident.
According to the police investigation, both individuals were passengers on a modern jeepney traveling from Talisay City to Cebu City. As the jeep was full of passengers, both the suspect and the victim were standing.
The victim reportedly felt the suspect’s private part pressing against her back. She initially tried to slightly distance herself from the suspect to avoid the uncomfortable situation, assuming it might have been accidental due to the jeep’s movement and sudden brakes.
However, when she realized that the man had done it on purpose, the woman became enraged. She grabbed his private part and squeezed it harshly, creating a disturbance inside the jeep.
With a police officer nearby, both the suspect and the victim were taken to Police Station 7 in Barangay Inayawan. Ultimately, the victim decided not to pursue charges of acts of lasciviousness against the suspect.
