A dark comedy with sass and class is “A Very Good Girl” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly De Leon. This is the first-ever film project of these two award-winning actresses and everyone is excited!

Based on the movie teaser released previously, the movie seems promising in terms of its plot and captivating cinematic experience.

This will be shown in theaters this September 27. Recently, the official movie trailer is now released and there’s still the intriguing insight about De Leon portraying as Bernardo’s wealthy mother in the film.

For this film, director Petersen Vargas was at the helm while Dominique Mancol penned the screenplay with Carmi Raymundo and Daniel Saniana on the creative direction, and Noel Tehankee as the director of photography.

The film also stars Jake Ejercito, Angel Aquino, Chie Filomeno, Donna Cariaga, Gillian Vicencio, Ana Abad Santos, Kaori Oinuma, Althea Ruedas, Nathania Guerrero and Nour Hooshmand.

Check out the full and official trailer of the film:

The trailer showed a glimpse of the different side of Bernardo as an actress – a side we have never seen before. Their looks are definitely slaying especially the eye makeup which gave us a major baddie vibe.

Dolly and Kath are Molly and Philo in the film, respectively, a mother-daughter tandem.

Her looks here are very different from the usual casual looks from her previous films like 2 Good 2 Be True, Hello, Love, Goodbye, and Barcelona: A Love Untold.

In short, she is not your regular “very good girl” anymore. This is also among her few films without her reel and real life partner Daniel Padilla.
