A Bacolod City couple finds themselves in desperate need of assistance after floodwaters destroyed their home.
A Facebook user named Joy Bayking has shared photos and videos of the couple seeking help after their home was engulfed by floodwaters. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
On Tuesday evening (July 25, 2023), Kint Tan Fernan and his wife, Joy Bless Cubero, residents of Taculing, Bacolod City, experienced the full force of Typhoon Egay as it brought heavy downpours and massive flooding to the area.
The family’s home was submerged in floodwaters and eventually wiped out by the disaster. The couple had no choice but to leave their home and possessions to ensure their safety.
The two were left heartbroken as they realized that not a single belonging was saved from the catastrophe. Their child’s belongings were also swept away in the floods, leaving them struggling to cope with the aftermath of the incident.
Bayking also seeks help from kind-hearted netizens to donate clothing, diapers, and milk for the couple’s baby. Any assistance, no matter how small, will be of great help to Kint and Joy Bless as they try to rebuild their lives from scratch.
