Animal abuse, according to worried netizens, was provoked after the security guard addressed a group of children who were hesitant to leave the location. The mall guard allegedly used harsh force against the children.
The Animal Kingdom Foundation, a local animal protection organization, has slammed the conduct as not only cruel to animals but also potentially abusive to children. The online community is also calling for justice for the helpless animal.
The security guard company expresses regret for the situation and claims to be investigating it. Meanwhile, the mall’s management fired the security guard. The agency acknowledged the gravity of the situation and promised to take necessary measures based on the investigation’s findings.
Authorities, according to the report, have already filed a complaint against the guard. If convicted, the guard faces a sentence of six months to two years in prison. According to the AKF, this horrible act was committed in front of a gathering of children.
