The reigned of Rachel Gabreza as the winner of “It’s Showtime’s” Tawag ng Tanghalan have finally ended with the entry of Jeremiah Tiangco who dethroned the champion on Thursday. The Cavite bet Jeremiah Tiangco ended the eight-week dominance of the Sales Diva, Rachel Gabreza.
The 18-year-old Jeremiah Tiangco who is a college student and a worship leader at their church defeated the former champion during the sing-off round of the competition.
During the sing-off rounds of the finals, Rachel Gabreza performed Sheryn Regis’s hit “Come In Out of the Rain,” while Tiangco belted “Broken Vow” from the “Meteor Garden” soundtrack.
For the past few days, the defending champion Rachel Gabreza bagged a total of P195,000 and has secured a spot in the semifinals. The Thursday’s winner of Tawag ng Tanghalan Jeremiah Tiangco will return Friday to defend his title.
