A furparent’s act of sleeping in a dog cage to accompany his beloved furbaby strikes a chord with netizens.
A recent post by furparent Jenu Acayan has resonated deeply with fellow pet owners, as it features a photo of Jenu sleeping inside their dog’s cage, keeping their beloved furbaby company.
The touching gesture has struck a chord with many, highlighting the special bond between humans and their furry companions. Jenu shared their story, explaining the reasons behind this act of solidarity and shedding light on the deep connection they share with their furbaby.
Jenu revealed that on that particular night, they decided to sleep inside their dog’s cage. It was their furbaby’s first night sleeping away from their bed. Due to the impending arrival of puppies, Jenu and their partner needed to train their dog to sleep in the cage.
“Bale totoo po talaga na sa cage niya ako nag-sleep that night. First night niya po kasi mag-sleep ng wala sa bed namin. Usually po talaga katabi ko siya mag-sleep pero since buntis siya at malapit na po siya manganak, kailangan po namin siya e-train na nasa cage siya. Since first night niya po, nag-e-stress out po siya na ‘di ako katabi. Antok na antok na din po kasi ako niyan so para makapag-rest kami both, sinamahan ko po siya dun sa cage niya,” Acayan said.
However, the dog was feeling stressed and anxious, missing the comforting presence of their human. To alleviate their furbaby’s distress and ensure they both got some rest, Jenu chose to sleep alongside them in the cage.
Acayan also shared that their dog, Peesha, is incredibly clingy and always seeks physical closeness, especially during bedtime.
Peesha loves being hugged, and it brings them immense joy. The fur parent expressed her gratitude for such a sweet and affectionate furbaby, mentioning that they even adjust their own habits to ensure Peesha’s happiness and well-being.
