‘Yellow Girl’ Claims She Was Robber of P200,000 During Holdup Incident in Cotabato
Bai Naifa Abid Samama or known as ‘Yellow Girl‘ claimed that she fell victim to a robbery hold-up in Midsayap, Cotabato.
As per a Facebook post shared by Bai Naifa Abid Samama, also known as ‘Yellow Girl,’ through her page ‘Kala Yellow VLOG,’ she claimed that she was robbed of approximately P200,000 in cash by two unidentified suspects in Brgy. Tugal, Midsayap.
It is worth mentioning that this area is now part of the Special Geographic Area of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
According to the report from Midsayap PNP, the local police chief, Lt. Col. Rolly Oranza, stated that they are actively investigating the incident. Oranza further explained that there were inconsistencies in the information shared by the victim.
The victim initially stated that the hold-up occurred in Brgy. Tugol, which is a distant barangay from the town, but within less than eight minutes, the victim was allegedly already in the Poblacion area, where the incident was said to have taken place.
The PNP has not yet confirmed the exact amount of money stolen from the victim. Initially, the victim reported to the PNP that only P95,000 was taken from her, but she later claimed that it was P200,000.
According to reports, the victim was on her way home to Midsayap from Datu Piang, riding a tricycle when she was allegedly followed by two suspects. Upon reaching the location, she was then held up, and the perpetrators took her money.
Yellow Girl gained widespread attention online last year due to a motor show held in Matalam, Cotabato, where a video of her provocative dancing went viral, making her a social media personality.
