PAGASA Says Warm Weather to Prevail Over Most Parts of PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that warm weather will prevail over most parts of the country due to the easterlies.
On Wednesday (April 19, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released latest weather update in the country. The easterlies and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country.
The Easterlies / Localized Thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over entire Visayas, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience similar weather condition.
Weather specialist Obet Badrina said that warm weather condition is expected over most parts of the country.
“Sa ating pinakahuling satellite images, easterlies pa rin, ito yung hanging nagmumula sa Dagat Pasipiko, ang nakakaapekto sa malaking bahagi ng bansa,” Badrina said.
The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
“Makikita po ninyo wala po masyadong kaulapan na nabubuo o nakakaapekto sa ating kapuluan, kaya generally mainit pa din po ang panahon na mararanasan sa malaking bahagi ng ating bansa ngayong araw,” Badrina added.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon and the remaining parts of the country, according to the weather bureau.
