Lou Yanong Shocks Fans After Pulling Out of 2026 Superbods Finals
LOU YANONG – Just as excitement was building for the Century Tuna Superbods finals, Lou Yanong surprised everyone by stepping away from the competition.
Kapamilya actress and former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Lou Yanong has officially withdrawn from the Century Tuna Superbods 2026 finals, surprising fans who were looking forward to seeing her compete in the prestigious fitness competition.
Lou announced her decision through a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, explaining that she would no longer continue her journey in the contest because of circumstances beyond her control. She described the decision as difficult, saying she carefully thought about it before making her final choice.
“I wrestled with it for days because I know what a privilege it is to be chosen as a finalist.
“However, after a lot of reflection, I decided to discontinue my journey due to personal and unavoidable reasons,” Lou shared.
Although she did not reveal the specific reasons behind her withdrawal, the actress expressed deep gratitude to the organisers and everyone she met throughout the competition. She thanked the Century Tuna Superbods family for welcoming her and allowing her to be part of a campaign that encourages healthier and stronger lifestyles.
“To my newfound family in Superbods, thank you for believing in me and for giving me the opportunity to be a part of something that inspires so many people to pursue healthier and stronger lives.
“I am humbled by the kindness everyone has showed me and I wish Century Tuna Superbods and all the finalists I had the pleasure of meeting –– nothing but success,” she added.
Following her announcement, Lou also appealed to social media users to choose kindness when interacting online. She reminded the public that people often face personal struggles that are not visible to others and encouraged everyone to be more compassionate before making judgments.
“In this cruel world we live in, it’s never too late to be kind. As this goes on, I urge everyone to be a little considerate and be kind.
“We have something to say when everything doesn’t go the way we think it should happen— and when we see chances being given to people who don’t usually get them, we also have something to say. Words are lethal weapons. Please be kind,” the actress said.
After Lou’s withdrawal, the organisers of Century Tuna Superbods also released an official statement, expressing appreciation for her participation and wishing her well moving forward.
“We thank Lou for being part of this year’s Superbod journey and for inspiring others to pursue healthier, stronger lives.
“We wish her all the best as she continues her journey, and we remain committed to celebrating every individual’s path toward becoming their best self.”
