Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose do not mind working with an ex
Kapuso actor-host Rayver Cruz revealed the only condition he has to work with an ex-girlfriend.
Rayver and his girlfriend Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose guested on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk With Boy Abunda. They started as best friends, and eventually, love bloomed between them after working together on projects under their home network.
They confirmed their relationship in 2022, during the JulieVerse concert. This brought “kilig” to their fans.
During the recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Julie was asked if she’s okay with Rayver having a project with his ex-girlfriend.
The actress-singer revealed that she and Rayver would talk about their exes. The actor explained that he would not bring it up unless Julie Anne asked about it.
“‘Di ko s’ya ibi-bring up unless nagtanong si Jules pero hindi s’ya yung out of nowhere na parang nag-reminse ka kasi syempre, for me, baka ‘di ka super in love sa partner mo,” he shared.
Then, the couple was asked whether it was fine with them to work with their exes. Julie said that there is no problem with her collaborating with an ex, like actor-singer Elmo Magalona.
“Elmo and I are really, really good friends, alam naman lahat ng tao ‘yan saka Elmo is a very nice guy. Sobrang talented saka if ever na magkaroon ng collaboration, why not ‘di ba?” Julie Anne said.
She also has no problem if Rayver Cruz has a project with his ex-girlfriend. “Oo naman, wala pong kaso,” she said.
The actor said that with respect to his girlfriend, he has one condition when it comes to working with an ex. “Bago trabaho, iisipin ko muna kung nasa lagay ako ng girlfriend ko,” he said.
Julie Anne stressed it is fine with her, and she trusts Rayver. “For what it’s worth, wala po talagang problem sa ‘kin because parang wala na kasi kami sa phase na ‘yon to question each other’s loyalty,” she said.
Rayver said that she would just do it with Julie Anne’s permission or a go signal. “Ako kasi nando’n ako sa baka pag-awayan pa ‘yan e. Pero kung pahihintulutan ng partner mo, bakit hindi?” the actor said.
