Dog Rescued From Rubbles of Collapsed Building in Pampanga
A dog was miraculously rescued alive from the rubble of a collapsed nine-story building in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The dog, believed to belong to a construction foreman working at the site, was found during ongoing search and rescue operations in Barangay Balibago. Rescuers were surprised when the animal suddenly appeared from beneath the thick piles of concrete debris and twisted metal.
According to the Angeles City Information Office, responders immediately noticed movement coming from the ruins while operations were ongoing. In a video shared online, one of the rescuers could be seen carefully calling the frightened dog, which was hiding under broken cement and steel bars.
Despite being trapped under the collapsed structure for days, the dog managed to survive, leaving rescuers and residents emotional and relieved. Many described the rescue as a miracle, especially considering the dangerous condition of the site.
The responders carefully secured the dog and brought it to a safer area for immediate care. Authorities later confirmed that the animal is now under the protection of the rescue team and will undergo a full medical check-up through the Angeles City Veterinary Office.
