Ogie Diaz had this recent statement about Sarah Lahbati
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz defended actress Sarah Lahbati against bashers who criticized her for selling her preloved luxury items.
Ogie is one of the well-known showbiz insiders in the Philippine entertainment industry. From being a showbiz writer-reporter, he ventured into hosting and acting.
Eventually, he became a talent manager and also entered the world of content creation through his YouTube channels.
In the recent episode of his showbiz talk show, Showbiz Update released on April 11, Ogie Diaz has spoken about the negative comments that Sarah Lahbati received for selling some of her luxury items.
“Wala namang problema kung nagbebenta ng damit si Sarah. Gamit naman niya yata ‘yon, e, ‘di ba?” the talent manager-vlogger said.
Then Ogie mentioned that just like some celebrities who wanted to have more space for new items, like bags, they had to let go some of the things that they own.
Ogie also stressed that when one is selling preloved items, that person is already suffering financially. “Baka malay mo naman, wala nang space sa bahay. Sobra-sobra na. May bagong biniling bag. Hindi niya kailangan ‘yong mga lumang bag,” he added.
Previously, Sarah Lahbati caught the attention of the online community when she was featured in a show on Netflix while trying to consider a dream house in Paris that was worth over P300 million.
The actress intended to do that if ever his sons Zion and Kai would decide to study in Europe. Sarah is now in a co-parenting set-up with her estranged husband, actor Richard Gutierrez.
To recall, the actress had an intriguing statement about Richard which garnered speculation that the actor is not providing for their kids. However, Richard was defended by his twin brother, host Mon Gutierrez.
