Jamie Rivera On Claims That LGBTQ People Will Go To Hell

“Heal Our Land” singer Jamie Rivera has this to say about this claim.

Jamie Rivera, known for being a gospel singer, aired her side about the claims that LGBTQ people are meant to go to hell.

Previously, Alvin Aragon made rounds online because of his claims against LGBTQ people. He had spoken against them, implying that they are unacceptable and should not be accepted by anyone or any society. He drew backlash because of his anti-gay remarks.

Recently, in an interview, Jamie Rivera, a popular gospel singer, was asked about a similar topic. She was asked if the people of the community are meant to go to hell, and she immediately rejected this idea.

According to her, during her recent guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” she disagreed with such comments, as she holds value for LGBTQ people. She has gratitude and respect for the LGBTQ people. Based on her personal journey, members of the LGBTQ+ community played a significant role in the early years of her career.

“In my humble beginnings, Boy Navarrete did my makeup for free up until the time that I could already afford to pay,” she recalled, and went on, “Arnold Galang dressed me up. He was the one who gave me my costumes […] As I said earlier, Kuya Boy, you were my publicist and you didn’t ask for anything.”

Rivera emphasized that there is no reason for judgment when a person is surrounded by kind and supportive individuals, particularly her road managers and LGBTQ friends. She highlighted how these people played an important role in protecting and helping her. These people shaped her positive outlook toward them.

According to Rivera, their kindness and support made a lasting impact on her life, leading her to believe that they deserve appreciation rather than criticism. She also expressed her personal belief that people who show genuine care and compassion for others are worthy of a place in heaven.
