Woman Alarmed After Husband Swallows Staple Wire from Bought Cooked Meal
The woman became concerned after the incident, where her husband accidentally swallowed the staple wire that was mixed in their purchased food.
Recently, Doris Escober Pesigan, a Facebook user, shared their unpleasant experience with the cooked meal they bought outside. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions online.
Pesigan explained that they had just come home and did not have time to cook, so they decided to buy ready-to-eat food from a nearby seller. It was something they had done many times before, especially from an elderly couple who often sold cooked dishes in their area.
While eating, her husband suddenly stood up and began coughing hard. He held his throat and struggled to breathe, clearly in distress. It caused panic as he kept trying to cough out whatever was stuck.
After a few tense moments, he managed to spit out a small metal object. It turned out to be a piece of staple wire.
The couple felt shocked and relieved at the same time. They realized how dangerous the situation could have been if the object had gone deeper or caused an injury inside his throat. It could have led to serious harm and even required surgery.

Since that incident, the couple decided to stop buying cooked meals from outside. They also shared their concern about how such objects could end up in food, possibly from packaging materials like stapled plastic used for spices or ingredients.
