Actors and love team Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach are popular for their series “Ang Mutya ng Section E.” Their chemistry was undeniable on screen, which sparked hope in their fans that something real could grow between them.
But times are different now. Artists are no longer limited to working with just their love team. They can work with others outside the love team. Ashtine takes on a solo project in “Viva One Originals: Ashtine,” stepping away from their love team, while Andres is also making his mark with his own venture, “Bagets The Musical.”
Despite the separate projects, they remain supportive of each other’s pursuits.
In an interview, she expressed her happiness for Andres for being able to learn more while improving his dancing, singing, and acting skills. She is supportive of the endeavors he chases outside of their love team.
When it comes to their relationship status, she briefly responded, “Good friends.”
She added, “That’s really it. Just good friends who are willing to support each other.”
According to her, they don’t hang out outside work, and they just really see each other for work purposes.
Meanwhile, Ashtine is under Viva Artists Agency, recognized as a breakout Gen Z star. Apart from Ang Mutya ng Section E, her other works included Miss Granny (2018) and Will You Be My Ex?
She is a former member of P-pop groups including UGG, PPop Generation, and LITZ (under Viva Records).
Cementing her celebrity, she received nominations from Billboard PH Women in Music 2026 – People’s Choice Award, the 7th VP Choice Awards, the 37th PMPC Star Awards for Television – Best New Female TV Personality, and the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival – Best Supporting Actress.
