Delivery Rider in El Nido Appeals to Online Shoppers Not to Cancel ParcelsĀ Amid Surging Fuel Prices

A delivery rider in El Nido, Palawan asked online shoppers to be considerate and avoid canceling their parcels.

Recently, the Facebook page 103.1 Brigada News FM – Palawan shared the appeal of a delivery rider to customers. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.

According to the rider, canceled orders create a big problem for delivery personnel who travel long distances just to bring packages to customers. The rider explained that some parcels are heavy and require extra effort to transport, especially in areas that are far from the main town.

When a customer suddenly cancels the order, all the time, effort, and fuel spent on the trip go to waste. The rider also pointed out that the rising price of gasoline makes the situation even harder.

Delivery riders often use their own motorcycles and fuel to complete their routes. When parcels are canceled after they have already been delivered to the area, it means the rider still has to return the item while carrying the added cost of fuel.

Because of this, the rider asked customers in the area to think carefully before placing orders online. Responsible ordering can help avoid unnecessary problems and prevent added stress for delivery workers who are simply trying to earn a living.
