Several senior citizens have flocked to PSA offices over National ID requirement for claiming social pension. 

A lot of senior citizens have gone to offices of the Philippine Statistics Authority after hearing that a National ID may now be required to claim their social pension. 

Many elderly beneficiaries reportedly became worried when they were told that they might need to present a National ID before receiving their national social pension. Fearing delays in their much-needed financial assistance, they decided to act quickly.

Wanting to make sure their benefits would not be affected, they personally went to PSA offices to secure the required identification.
