Former beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles has this answer when asked if there’s a third party in her marriage with John Estrada.
Based on a previous article, former beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles and actor John Estrada’s marriage has been permanently terminated. Priscilla confirmed the divorce, and according to her, the actor did not like this. He was not happy with her decision.
“We are no longer married, which means bilang isang foreigner may karapatan ako to divorce my husband, so last year I went to Brazil and started the process of divorcing him,” Priscilla shared.
In an interview, she was asked about the involvement of any third party that prompted her decision to divorce Estrada. When asked by King of Talk Boy Abunda, she expressed, “Tito Boy, ang dami sila, e! Third, fourth, fifth, sixth… buong barangay yata!”
She also revealed that before they got married, he made several promises to her. He was honest about his past and assured her that he would no longer be the same person, saying that his love for her inspired him to change.
“Now, yung nangyari, parang hindi siya nagbago, e.”
Priscilla also laughed at the assumptions of the public about her being a martyr. She denied being a martyr wife, but what she had been was someone who fought for her family. She fought for herself and her daughter, but she reached the point of exhaustion.
She shared, “It got to a point that I realized that for my, one, well-being, I need to get out of this situation. Because it’s not doing any good and I don’t see getting any better.”
She said that one of the reasons she chose to divorce him was that she no longer saw herself building or sharing a future with him.
