A few days before Valentine’s Day, the SKof Barangay Tigayon in Kalibo, Aklan carried out a health awareness activity by distributing free condoms and informational flyers in their community.

While some praised the initiative as timely and responsible, others expressed different opinions about the approach. Despite this, the youth leaders stood by their goal of promoting awareness and safety.
The distribution was part of the SK’s ongoing efforts to support sexual and reproductive health education, especially among young people. Along with condoms, they handed out flyers containing information about HIV prevention and responsible behavior.
The aim was to remind the community, particularly the youth, about the importance of making informed and safe choices.
