Cassy Legaspi is part of this new Kapuso series
Kapuso actress Cassy Legaspi talked about working with A-list actress Bea Alonzo in the new Kapuso series Whispers From Heaven.
This project is an upcoming political thriller series and serves as the TV comeback of Bea. Also included in the cast were Tom Rodriguez, Maricar Reyes, Jason Abalos, and Jake Macapagal.
Fortunately, Cassy had the chance to be in this much-awaited Kapuso project this year. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Network, Cassy gushed over the chance to be included in the cast.
The daughter of seasoned showbiz personalities Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi shared that this project is different from what she has done before.
“More serious and mature side… Basta very different and mas dark,” Cassy Legaspi shared.
The actress was able to get a role in Whispers From Heaven even though her series Hating Kapatid is still airing. Last March 6, the lead cast of the new Kapuso series was introduced.
Cassy expressed excitement about her role in the series, but she also admitted that she is quite nervous.
“Of course, super grateful. I’m so thankful for this project. And, I’m very excited and very nervous at the same time, kasi currently I’m still taping Hating Kapatid and, at the same time, magsisimula naman din po kami ng Whispers From Heaven na taping. Still grateful, and ayon nga po very nervous, especially sa role ko,” she shared.
When asked what the viewers can expect from her in this new series, Cassy said that her character will show her more mature side.
Cassy Legaspi also expressed excitement about working with Bea Alonzo. She admitted that it has been her dream to work with the A-list actress.
“Actually, ito talaga ‘yung dream ko to work with Ate Bea. I think there were two attempts na we’re supposed to work together. I think movies pero hindi po natuloy. So, ito talaga ‘yung Whispers From Heaven na. This is it,” the young Kapuso star said.
