Michelle Dee started a legal battle against Alyas Totoy
Kapuso actress Michelle Dee refiled the qualified theft complaint against Bonifacio Baro, or Alyas Totoy, the former driver and personal assistant of her friend, actress Rhian Ramos.
This issue surfaced on social media when Baro sought help from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), with the help of Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), regarding his accusation against Michelle, Rhian, and their friend, Samantha Panlilio.
Allegedly, Baro was tortured and detained illegally by three female celebrities. Michelle accused Rhian’s former driver of stealing her ang pao, allegedly containing sensitive images, which, according to the blotter report, was worth P30 million.

In a recent report fromthe GMA news program 24 Oras, Michelle Dee refiled her qualified theft complaint against Bonifacio Baro, last Friday.
It was because the first complaint was dismissed as Baro could no longer be subjected for inquest as the alleged incident happened in December. The prosecutor stated that the case should go through a preliminary investigation to find out whether or not there is a reasonable certainty of conviction or indict Baro for qualified theft.
Michelle included the photo of the ang pao that Baro allegedly stole that contained 10 valuable items. Nine of these items were returned, and one is missing. However, Rhian’s former driver already stressed in a previous statement that he does not have the item.

Meanwhile, Alyas Totoy has returned to the Makati Police station where Michelle filed a complaint. The driver claimed that he was beaten by policemen while he was detained from January 19 until January 22.
Baro showed the authorities and the media the room where he was allegedly physically abused.
Makati Chief of Police, Pol. Colonel Pedro Alagano promised that there would be full transparency and cooperation from the investigating team. The Makati Police also gave NBI a copy of the CCTV footage during Baro’s stay at the detention center.
