Mon Confiado was asked about his past relationship with Ynez Venaracion
Actor Mon Confiado had this honest answer when asked about the “new face” of his ex-partner, actress Ynez Veneracion.
Mon and Ynez had been together for 17 years. After breaking up, they are comfortable working with each other. Their recent project together is the movie Batang Paco, featuring comedian Empoy Marquez and Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai de las Alas.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Mon was asked about Ynez’s physical transformation and if this fits her.
The actor had an honest answer to this. “To be honest, hindi. Pero noong una, medyo may mga reaction din ako katulad din nung mga bashers niya, alam ni Ynez iyon,” Mon Confiado said.
Previously, Ynez said that the bashing about her face does not affect her anymore. On the other hand, she admitted that she wanted to reverse her nose job.
Mon shared what he said to Ynez regarding her face. “Sabi ko, ‘Ang ganda-ganda mo na! Ang ganda ng ilong mo, ang ganda mo! Bakit mo pa pinagalaw?’” the actor said.
On the other hand, Mon said that he understood Ynez’s back story, and it was because they had been together for 17 years. “So iyung kanyang self-confidence ay sobrang baba,” he said.
When asked if he was the reason why Ynez decided to have her cosmetic enhancement, Mon stressed that he did not leave the actress.
On the other hand, the actor said that it was not Ynez who left the relationship. Then, he just said, “Ang kagandahan, alam niyo naman lahat, best friends kami. Oo, magkaibigan kami.”
He also shared that their companionship did not change, and this is something that makes them happy because this is not usually the case for others who are former partners.
