Mika Salamanca Reveals an Awkward Truth She Only Realized Near the End of PBB
MIKA SALAMANCA – Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Big Winner Mika Salamanca once again caught netizens’ attention after making an unexpectedly candid revelation about her time inside the Pinoy Big Brother house.
Mika Salamanca left many amused after revealing a surprising detail about her time inside the Bahay ni Kuya, particularly when it came to privacy, or the lack of it, while bathing.
In the latest vlog episode of entrepreneur and social media personality Viy Cortez, released on Sunday, January 18, Mika candidly talked about the realities of being a housemate under constant surveillance. According to her, life inside the PBB house meant being monitored around the clock, leaving little room for personal space.

Mika Salamanca said, “Wala talaga kaming privacy do’n. […] Nakakatawa kasi noong nasa loob ng PBB, nalaman ko lang no’ng mga last week na, si AZ [Martinez] nagsabi sa akin, nakatalikod pala sila sa camera ‘pag naliligo.”
“Kasi ako nakaharap,” Mika added.
Her admission immediately prompted a shocked yet playful reaction from Viy, who exclaimed, “Gaga ka!”
Mika explained that at the time, she had no idea that some of her fellow housemates were intentionally positioning themselves away from the cameras while bathing. It was only toward the final weeks of her stay that she learned about this unwritten tactic, making her realization both funny and shocking in hindsight.

She also shared that they spent around four months inside the Bahay ni Kuya, a period during which they completely lost track of time. Without access to the outside world, housemates had no clear sense of dates or even the passage of days.
Despite this, Mika recalled that one housemate stood out for being particularly mindful of their timeline inside the house.
“Sino?” asked Viy.
Mika answered, “Si Will.”
Her story added another layer to the many behind-the-scenes moments that fans rarely get to see, highlighting just how mentally and emotionally demanding life inside the PBB house can be.
Pinoy Big Brother first aired on ABS-CBN in 2005 and has since become one of the longest-running reality shows in Philippine television, now spanning a total of 19 seasons. Currently, PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 is airing on GMA, continuing the legacy of the iconic reality program while offering fresh revelations from its celebrity housemates.
