Former senator Bong Revilla surrendered to the authorities, and this is what he said about his arrest following the warrant release.
Sandiganbayan’s Third Division has released a warrant of arrest and a hold departure order against former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. along with other individuals due to their alleged involvement in PHP 92.8 million worth of ghost flood control projects in Pandi, Bulacan.

The orders were for the malversation of public funds case before the Third Division.
Revilla became linked to the infrastructure corruption controversy following claims by former Public Works Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo that a combination of senators and House of Representatives lawmakers received kickbacks from Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) projects.
Apart from Revilla, Bernardo also dragged former senator and now Makati Mayor Nancy Binay, Senators Francis Escudero and Jinggoy Estrada, former Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co, former Caloocan Rep. Mitch Cajayon Uy, former San Jose del Monte Rep. Florida Robes, former DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, and former Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral.
In a video statement, following his arrest when he surrendered, Revilla expressed that that there seems to be no due process. But despite this, he will face this without fear because he is confident that he is innocent.
“Nakakalungkot po parang wala yatang due process. Pero ganun pa man, haharapin ko ito nang walang takot at alam kong hindi ako pababayaan ng Diyos dahil wala akong kasalanan dito,” he said.

- former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Jaypee Mendoza
- former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Arjay Domasig
- former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Emelita Juat
- former DPWH Bulacan First DEO finance section chief Juanito Mendoza, at
- DPWH Bulacan First District Engineering Office cashier Christina Pineda
