This is the area where Bong Revilla and others will be detained.

Former senator Bong Revilla was arrested after surrendering, along with others, and this is where they will be detained.

Bong Revilla surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP) at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Monday night. He surrendered after the Sandiganbayan Third Division issued a warrant of arrest and a hold departure order against him and other individuals allegedly involved in ghost flood control projects, such as the following:

Bong Revilla
  • former DPWH Bulacan First District Engineering Office (DEO) assistant district engineer Brice Hernandez
  • former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Jaypee Mendoza
  • former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Arjay Domasig
  • former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Emelita Juat
  • former DPWH Bulacan First DEO finance section chief Juanito Mendoza, at
  • DPWH Bulacan First District Engineering Office cashier Christina Pineda

The arrest warrant for Revilla and several others for malversation and falsification charges is related to the PHP 92.8-million alleged ghost project in Bulacan.

Before he went to the authorities, he was still able to make a video message to extend his reaction to the public. According to him, he was sad over the verdict, and he felt like it lacked due process. He lamented, but firmly believes that he is innocent.

Revilla and his co-accused were ordered to be detained at the New Quezon City Jail in Payatas. His lawyer appealed for his transfer to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Facility.

Along with the other 3,600 persons deprived of liberty (PDL), their detention looked like this:
