Actor-comedian Nikko Natividad appeared in Raffy Tulfo’s program, and this is what he shared after it was resolved.
Recently put at the center of a dispute was actor-comedian Nikko Natividad after his former househelper brought him and his wife, Cielo Mae Eusebio, to the program of Senator Raffy Tulfo, with a complaint.
It was never in his wildest imagination to face a complaint before Tulfo. The dispute began after the couple’s former nanny sought help from the program to air her complaints. However, after hearing both sides, the host-senator pointed out inconsistencies in the nanny’s claims.
Tulfo eventually sided with Natividad and Eusebio. In the same episode, it was revealed that the nanny allegedly owed the couple ₱44,000 in unpaid cash advances and had caused tension at home while the family was dealing with their son’s recent hospitalization.
Speaking about this, Natividad expressed in an interview that he also doesn’t know what pushed her to bring the complaint to Tulfo despite knowing the real situation. He doesn’t know what went through her mind.
“Kasi hindi ko expect na magpapa-Tulfo. Kasi unang-una, wala kaming atraso. Kami ang naatraso niya, e,” he said.
He is just relieved that the issue was resolved right away. He is aware that with fame comes the hard part, where people judge even when they don’t really know the whole story.
As for the unpaid cash advances, regardless of the amount, he knows they will never be repaid, which is the most frustrating part. As an employer, he trusted his employee and extended help in her time of need out of compassion. They treated her fairly, which is why they never expected her to file a complaint on the program.
