Bela Padilla joined the Gerald Anderson-Richard Gutierrez series
Multihyphenate Bela Padilla talked about being part of an upcoming series featuring Kapamilya actors Gerald Anderson and Richard Gutierrez.
Early this month, it was announced that Richard and Gerald will work together for the first time in a series. They were both excited about this and shared that they admired each other’s works.
Based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Bela announced that she will be part of this upcoming TV series.
“I’m officially joining Richard and Gerald in their new show!” the actress-director said. The last full-length series she did was Sino Ang May Sala: Mea Culpa in 2019, but she had a cameo appearance in Pamilya Sagrado in 2025.
Bela Padilla shared that there were two stories that were presented to her. She said that she loved the first story and it was different from the second one, which immediately caught her attention since she had not done this before.
“This is very new for me, bagong-bagong character. Bagong genre din, first time kong mag action-drama. I think people will also be surprised sa magiging takbo ng kwento dito, and nung character ko dito,” Bela said.
She also admitted that she felt a bit nervous and quipped that she did not know if she still knew how to do tapings. On the other hand, she stressed that she will be focused on doing this project.
Bela said she is ready mentally and she’s excited. “I think everyone who knows me, knows that I thrive while on set. So I’m excited to go back,” the actress shared.
She added that she has been physically preparing for the series, especially since it is in the action-drama spectrum. The actress shared that she has already started her Muay Thai lessons, and she’s learning stunts from Erwin Tagle. “Emotionally, I would say I’m always ready,” she said.
Bela Padilla also shared that it is her first time working with Gerald Anderson, while she had already worked with Richard Gutierrez years ago.
