Pinky Amador talked about the negative comments she received
Seasoned actor Pinky Amador shared her thoughts on the bashing she received after her controversial remark on veteran journalist Anthony “Ka Tunying” Taberna.
To recall, Pinky shared a video of her standing in front of Ka Tunying’s store at the airport. While standing there and looking at the camera, she said, “Bibili sana ako ng fake news.”
This came after Ka Tunying’s statement regarding Senator Risa Hontiveros, and it had something connected to her declaration that she has no bicam insertions.
The journalist went against that, and this did not sit well with the supporters of the senator. A few days after the actress shared that video, Ka Tunying shared his reaction.
In a Facebook post, the veteran journalist stressed that there is no fake news in their store. He added a fiery statement to this by saying, “Pero try nyo po ang MALUTONG na MURA pa na rice crackers.”
Supporters of Ka Tunying also expressed negative reactions to the seasoned actress. In a recent interview, Pinky was asked about this issue. “I eat bashing for breakfast, ganu’n lang!” she said when asked about what she learned from getting bashed.
Most of the time, Pinky plays “kontrabida” roles, and with this, it was usual that she would get negative reactions from viewers
“I think nakatulong din ‘yung role ko bilang kontrabida kasi hindi maiiwasan na iba-bash ka talaga, so, matututo ka to take it with the grain of salt,” she shared.
The actress said that most of the netizens expressing negativity online had no pictures on their profiles and were using fake names or just used an alias.
“So, for me it comes with the job siyempre hindi maiiwasang may time masakit talaga at may time na mapapaisip ka,” Pinky said, adding that, taking a step back to think of the bigger picture.
With this, Pinky Amador said that she would just think that she did a good job since people are reacting to what she is doing.
