Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Speaks Against Marcos Jr. Anew
HARRY ROQUE – The former presidential Spokesman claimed that the call for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to resign is allegedly “not incitement to sedition”.
There are calls for Pres. Bongbong Marcos to resign. It was even more ignited after the Chief Executive was dragged into the flood control mess and was accused by his own sister of allegedly using illegal drugs.

At the height of the flood control issue in the country, one of the alleged main role players in the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption in the government, Zaldy Co, claimed that Marcos Jr. allegedly inserted P100 billion in the 2025 budget. He also claimed that the President and his cousin, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, allegedly received multi-billion kickbacks.
Countless Filipinos were even more shocked when Senator Imee Marcos pinned down her brother during the rally organized by the members of Iglesia ni Cristo. The presidential Sister claimed that Marcos Jr. is allegedly into illegal drug use.

Amid the issues against the President, there are several calls for Pres. Bongbong Marcos Jr. to resign. There were also some instances when Malacañang tagged it as allegedly an incitement to sedition. One of those who recently made a move against the President is former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson.

Former Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson called on the religious organizations and the youth to join the rally to the Palace. Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro claimed that for her, Chavit Singson’s remark is allegedly “inciting to sedition”.
Recently, former presidential spokesman Harry Roque who have called for the resignation of Marcos Jr. several times defended the call for the President’s resignation. He flee from the country amid the investigation of his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations.

Through a post on social media, Harry Roque claimed that the call for the resignation of Marcos is allegedly not an incitement to sedition. He also claimed that People Power is legal.
“Ang ating pagsisikapan ngayon ay isang manigong bagong taon na mangyayari lamang po kapag sinisanti na natin itong Marcos Jr. Hindi po incitement to sedition na nagsasabi na dapat mag-resign si Marcos Jr. Hindi po incitement to sedition na sinasabi na gamitin ang People Power dahil ‘yan naman pong People Power ay talaga naman pong nasa ating Saligang Batas,” the former presidential Spox said.
Based on the post, Harry Roque also recalled the historical People Power Revolution that ousted the father of the President, the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. He claimed that a peaceful move to oust the President from his position is allegedly not against the law.
“Nung minsan ay isinipa natin through People Power ang ama nitong Marcos Jr. na si Marcos Sr. Hindi po ‘yan incitement to sedition… Sa katunayan po, hanggang hindi magdudulot ng clear at present danger… ‘yang ating mga panawagan na magbitiw si Marcos Jr. o di naman kaya para gamitin ang mapayapang People Power para mapaalis sa pwesto ang Marcos Jr., hindi po ‘yan pwedeng maging incitement to sedition,” Roque claimed.
