After the 2024 civil wedding, celebrities Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo tied the knot again before 2025 ended. This time, they had a church wedding attended by a lot of celebrities, and among the guests were Robi Domingo and John Lloyd Cruz.
However, there was reportedly a confrontation between Robi and John Lloyd that happened during their wedding reception. Based on the reports, John Lloyd did not like Robi’s joke when he was given the chance to speak.

Cruz was reportedly displeased when Domingo asked Marudo how he felt about being called “Mr. Atayde.” Diaz further claimed that the uneasy moment took place at a bar, where other celebrities allegedly witnessed Cruz confronting Domingo over the remark.
Recently, in an interview with ABS-CBN, Ria was asked about the rumored tension, and these are her words about it:
“If something happened between them, they kept it away from me. It wasn’t something that disrupted the event or anything, it went very smoothly. It was a beautiful night.”
During their wedding, the couple requested their guests to refrain from using their phones, a gesture they later thanked everyone for honoring. Their simple wish was for everyone to be fully present and savor the moment. Surrounded only by close friends and family, they expressed deep gratitude to those who took the time to attend and celebrate with them.
She said, “Our wedding was intimate it had our friends and families, were so grateful that they all showed up for us. It was just a nice celebration of our love, a nice celebration of everyone who has been a part of our story as a couple.”
