Content Creator Disappointed w/ Fast-Food Chains Over Alleged Unfair Soft Drink Practices

A content creator expressed disappointment toward popular fast-food chains over what he claims are unfair practices involving soft drinks.

Recently, Jun Abines, a Facebook user, shared photos of the soft drinks he purchased from a fast-food chain, which he said appeared to involve unfair practices. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from netizens.

According to Abines, the cup contained more ice than actual soda. He felt that the amount of drink did not match what customers were paying for, leaving him dissatisfied with the experience.

Jun shared that after taking just a few sips, his drink was already gone, with only ice left in the cup. This made him feel cheated, especially since he expected a fair amount of soda with his order.

The content creator also expressed concern that the large amount of ice made it difficult to enjoy the drink properly.

The latter mentioned that he believed this practice was not limited to just one fast-food brand. He felt that other popular chains might be doing the same thing, giving customers more ice instead of the drink they paid for.

For him, it was not just about the money but about honesty and fairness in serving customers.

Many netizens reacted to his post, with some agreeing and sharing similar stories about their own fast-food experiences. Others pointed out that ice helps keep drinks cold, but still believed there should be a better balance between ice and soda. A few also advised customers to request less ice or no ice when ordering to avoid the issue.

Dear Mcdo,

I felt cheated by your tricks of putting more ice in the cup than soft drinks. I am very, very disappointed.

Dalawang higop ko lang ubos na ang coke! Puro yelo na lang natira. Muntik pa akong mabolunan!

I think you and Jollibee cheated most of your custumers by giving them more ice for the drinks they paid.

Akala ko si PBBM at Martin lang magnanakaw.

Sincerely,

Jun Abines

Disappointed customer.
