Matet de Leon was asked about their recent family issue

Actress Matet de Leon spoke about her misunderstanding with her brother, actor Ian de Leon, during her recent guesting on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

Matet is one of the adopted children of former showbiz couple, the late Superstar Nora Aunor, and veteran actor Christopher de Leon. After Nora’s death, an issue surfaced between the De Leon siblings.

Ian declared that he is the sole heir of the Superstar, but Lotlot de Leon stressed that she has no interest in their mother’s inheritance. Amid the issue, Matet shared cryptic posts.

The former child star shared a photo with her adopted siblings with the captiion, “Mga ampon na walang mana.” After that, Matet de Leon shared screenshots from a basher who called them “kAMPON.”

During her recent guesting King of Talk Boy Abunda’s talk show, Matet admitted that there was a misunderstand between her and Ian de Leon. She can’t totally call it as “away.” The actress stressed that indeed it is true that Ian is the sole heir, and even though he would not say it, this is already understandable.

Regarding the Nora Aunor Foundation and Nora Aunor Enterprise, Matet said that they only found out that they are not part of it just recently. She is aware that Nora left some properties, but they know nothing about the existence of last will and testament.

Then, Matet addressed her viral post with her siblings Lotlot, Kenneth, and Kiko. She said that it was what the people had been saying, that they had no inheritance.

Doon po parang kumulo ako na as if we’re not grateful. We’re grateful. I’m here, talking with you Tito Boy because of my mom. I’m Matet because of my mother. So I’m grateful. Eh sila puro mana ang nasa isip ng ibang tao, hindi ba?” Matet de Leon said.

The actress turned emotional when she asked for respect from the public because their family is still mourning the death of their mother.
