Delivery Rider Siblings Shoot Two Warehouse Workers Over Delivery Fee Argument
Two delivery rider siblings shot two warehouse workers after having a heated argument over delivery fee in Palanca Street, Quiapo, Manila.
On the afternoon of January 2, 2026, two delivery rider brothers shot a co-worker inside a warehouse due to a dispute over a delivery fee, leaving one victim dead and another critically injured.
The 32-year-old victim died on the spot from multiple gunshot wounds, while his 35-year-old brother-in-law was rushed to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center and remains in critical condition.

The suspects, aged 33 and 36, both work for an online delivery company and had transported goods from Pulilan, Bulacan, to the warehouse in Manila.
After unloading their shipment, the brothers asked for their payment, as they had another delivery scheduled to Makati. A disagreement quickly escalated when the victims grew irritated with the riders’ hurried manner.
One of the victims reportedly slapped one of the delivery brothers. Believing his sibling was being attacked, the 33-year-old driver drew a gun and shot both men.
The suspects escaped immediately after the shooting. Police tracked them using the driver’s license information and discovered their residence. The driver was arrested at Batangas Port while attempting to hide in his hometown in Negros Occidental.
His brother, the assistant rider, voluntarily surrendered to the Barbosa Police Station on January 3, bringing the unlicensed firearm used in the shooting. Both are now in police custody.
Authorities confirmed that the suspects claimed the shooting was in self-defense, saying they felt outnumbered and threatened inside the warehouse. They expressed regret over the incident, emphasizing that the dispute was originally over a simple payment.
Despite the suspects’ apology, the Manila Police Department Homicide Section is preparing charges against the brothers, including murder, frustrated murder, and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
