On Instagram, actress Ellen Adarna welcomed questions again, and among those she was asked was a prediction about her. According to the prediction, she would be in a relationship again next year. By that time, it would be a politician. She reacted to this and eventually shared her plans.
According to her, a future new romance isn’t going to happen anytime soon.
This is because of the conscious pause she has chosen for herself in this aspect, following the recent life changes that happened to her. In her post, she shared that she is committing to celibacy for five years.
Ellen responded by revealing that she has committed to celibacy, which she described as “renewable every five years,” and shared where she currently stands emotionally and personally.
She shared, “I committed to five years of celibacy, renewable every five years. If it works, I continue. If it doesn’t, the purpose and goal was still fulfilled. (And yes longer than my marriage 🤣🤣) will focus on my babies❤️”
This is something she will intentionally do, as this would give her more time before making any decisions about love. This decision is not due to fear, but rather for self-care. It would be for the healing of her nervous system, and this is also the result of what she has learned from her recent life happenings.
Reflecting on her past experiences, she said she is intentionally slowing down and drawing lessons from everything she has been through.
“I’m choosing regulation over rushing (because duh, whirlwind romance pa more! Trauma izz real) 🤣🫠 as per Alanis [Morissette ] – you live you learn. T*nga ko nalang kung di,” she added.
To recall, Ellen previously confirmed her separation from Derek Ramsay. They were married after a whirlwind romance.
