Former Senator Cynthia Villar Argues w/ Village Guards Over New Traffic Schemes
Former senator Cynthia Villar confronted village security personnel over a newly introduced traffic scheme in BF Resort Village, Las Piñas City.
The Facebook page ‘Bilyonaryo” shared the video of the former senator having an exchange of heated arguments with the village security guard. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The incident happened during rush hour and added to the heavy congestion already affecting the area, especially with many vehicles on the road due to school traffic.

The new traffic plan was put in place by the BF Resort Village Homeowners Association to help ease daily bottlenecks along BF Resort Drive. The scheme included adjusted lanes, traffic markers, and security marshals assigned to guide motorists, particularly during busy school hours.
A test run of the plan began earlier in February, with the goal of improving safety and smoother traffic flow.
However, problems arose when Villar arrived at the scene and strongly objected to the changes being enforced near her home.
In the video, Villar can be seen confronting the guards and questioning why traffic barriers and lane rules were placed in front of her property. Her actions reportedly caused confusion among the security personnel, leading to stalled vehicles and worsening traffic conditions that morning.
Residents shared that instead of easing congestion, the situation became more chaotic after the confrontation. Some motorists were unsure which lanes to follow, while guards appeared hesitant as they tried to manage the situation on the ground.
The recent incident also brought back long-standing issues between Villar and the village homeowners association. Their disagreement dates back to 2022 and involves concerns over development projects and road use within the area. These unresolved tensions have continued to affect relations between both sides.
Village officials later clarified that BF Resort Drive is considered a public road and that the traffic measures were part of regular efforts to manage congestion and protect road users.
