Filipina beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo gets candid and real as she looks back on her Miss Universe 2025 journey.

Fatima Bosch of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2025 winner; however, it was a win surrounded by a lot of issues and controversies. This is the 4th crown of Mexico, tying with the Philippines. She succeeded Victoria Khaer Theilvig of Denmark.

3rd Runner-up: Ahtisa Manalo, Philippines
4th Runner-up: Olivia Yacé, Cote d’Ivoire

Recently, Filipina beauty queen Ahtisa Manalo was interviewed, and she became candid while speaking about her pageant journey. She guested in Vice Ganda’s latest vlog and was asked to judge the performance of the top finalists during the coronation night.

With honesty, she admitted that she was expecting to win the competition. She thought that it could be her or Côte d’Ivoire after hearing the answers of others.

“When you’re there, when you’re competing, you focus on yourself, you don’t focus on other people pero pag Q&A na syempre wala ka na magagawa dun so makikinig ka na lang, so I thought it was between me and Cote d’Ivoire. And syempre story ko ‘to so akong bida, syempre pag ako ‘yung nag-judge, ako ‘yung panalo,” she said.

To recall, Ahtisa previously held her grand homecoming in Candelaria, Quezon. Prior to this, she also had two homecoming parades in Manila and Pasay. Ahtisa finished 3rd while Olivia finished fourth runner-up.

Cote d’Ivoire was also named Miss Universe Africa & Oceania, but days later, she resigned.

Ahtisa also brought home the 3rd place in the Beyond the Crown category.
