Being kind costs nothing, yet it often comes back tenfold—sometimes even a thousand times over. In a previous article, Ivana Alawi’s encounter with a Manila beggar named Kuya Hesus went viral, touching many hearts as he showed that despite having so little, he was willing to give so much.
Ivana was emotional after knowing Kuya Hesus, and after their encounter, she vowed to never stop helping him. She even promised to give him a better life and find his family.
Recently, in her new vlog, she shared how she fulfilled every promise she made to him. She was able to track down his family, who had also been searching for him for many years. Kuya Hesus was reunited with his family, and they were able to go home together.
But the surprise did not stop there.
Ivana has her team find a lot for Kuya Hesus, where he can start anew. She made sure, with the help of her lawyer, that he and his property are protected. Apart from this, he will also provide him with animals for his farming endeavors, build a house for him, and even help him start a business.
Ivana wanted to give him a better life—one where he would no longer have to return to Manila or endure the hardships he once faced. Her goal was to create a stable and sustainable source of income that would allow him to live more comfortably.
She wanted to give him a good life. And to add to the amusing patterns in their fate, the former owner of the land is named Jesus, the new owner’s name is also Jesus, and Ivana was born on December 25, the day Jesus was born.
