Tuesday Vargas shared her thoughts on the holiday season
Comedienne Tuesday Vargas pointed out the more important things that people should remember during Christmas.
Tuesday has been providing laughter and entertainment to her audience, whether it is on TV, in movies, or on stage. At times, she would share her funny videos online. However, in a recent social media post, she had a serious reminder for people.
The comedienne pointed out that people should not force themselves when it comes to gift-giving, which is a common thing during the holidays.

Tuesday shared a post saying, “Reminder that Christmas gifts are NOT mandatory. If you’re struggling to pay bills, it’s OK to not buy anything.”
In the caption of her post, she opened up that during the holidays, she barely receives gifts. Then, she said that it seemed that other people were used to her giving gifts, and they might have said, “Ok na si ate, wala naman na ‘yang kailangan.”
“At tama po kayo! I am more than blessed. Hindi sa pera o materyal na bagay. Blessed ako sa pagmamahal ng mga taong mahalaga sa akin, sa aking kalusugan at sa Panginoon na gabay ko lagi. Hindi na ako makaka hiling ng iba pa,” Tuesday said.
Even though she is very appreciative of the gifts she receives from other people, the comedienne pointed out that they should prioritize those who are in need or spend on essential needs.
For her, there is no need to be pressured to give gifts to others. “Ngayong pasko, huwag tayong ma-pressure sa gift giving ng mga tangible na bagay na naluluma din o nasisira. He who has Christmas in his heart will not find the best gift under a tree. This is the season that reminds us that the best gift God gave us was wrapped in humility,” the comedienne said.
Meanwhile, in an interview a couple of months ago, Tuesday Vargas showed her vulnerability. She shared how she survived the lowest point in her life. From the struggles she had to go through because of her mental health, the comedienne found the strength and will to move forward.
