In the Part 2 interview of Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and her husband, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, on the YouTube channel of Janno Gibbs and Bing Loyzaga, the Asia’s Songbird admitted that out of the two of them, her husband is the one who knows how to budget better, especially when it comes to groceries.

It appeared that Regine really goes all-out in this aspect. “Dapat mag-flex tayo ngayon dahil pinaghirapan natin ‘yan,” she said.

Janno took notice of how braver Regine is now, and that she is fiercer when posting on social media. “Actually ako, hindi talaga ako political na tao. Pero kapag may nakikita akong injustice, like ‘yung nangyari sa Cebu, I was very upset,” she shared.

Regine said that she tended to donate. She felt dressed, but she could do nothing about it. It just made her feel frustrated. “Na may pinaghirapan akong pangalan, so I think, I can do something, pero mari-realize ko na, wala… do’n ako napu-frustrate,” she explained.

The singer is fed up with what is happening in politics today. Seeing how her hard work and efforts just go to the greedy people. More than this, Regine is saddened that, until now, the country is still suffering from flooding. She is questioning what happened because the government has programs for this.

Then, she shared that she wanted to write to the chief executive of the Philippines. “Gusto kong sulatan si Mr. President. Gusto kong magpapirma sa buong industry to protect, not just Sierra Madre. ’Yun ang gusto kong gawin, I want to ask an audience from Mr. President,” Regine Velasquez.
