RR Enriquez reacted to the issue between Kim Chiu and Lakam Chiu
Self-proclaimed “sawsawera” RR Enriquez said that she was saddened by what happened between Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu and her sister Lakam Chiu.
The issue between the Chiu sisters exploded when the younger filed a qualified theft complaint against the older. Kim’s camp did not divulge further details, but speculations surfaced that Lakam was hooked on gambling to the point that she allegedly spent hundreds of millions of pesos from Kim’s money.
The complaint came months after rumors surfaced that there was a conflict between the Chiu sisters, who were known for being close to each other.
In a recent Instagram post that RR Enriquez shared, she asked if it was already too late to make “sawsaw” to the issue between Kim Chiu and Lakam Chiu. RR shared that she and Kim used to share the same handler when she was in Star Magic.
The former dancer said that she has known Kim as a very generous person, not just to her family, but also to other people. RR admitted that when she first heard about the issue between the sisters, her initial reaction was, “pera lang yan, kikitain nya pa din yan.” She added that it was a good thing that Kim’s money was taken by her sister, and she was not really scammed by other people.
However, her perspective changed when she realized that the amount could possibly reach 300 million pesos. “Aguy and laki pala,” RR said. With this, she said that she’s sure that this decision was difficult for Kim to make.
Then, RR Enriquez said that it was hard for her to make “sawsaw” in this issue because her heart as a sister is rising above the circumstance. “My heart wants to say ‘forgive her,'” she said, adding that the money that Kim Chiu lost can still be regained.
However, RR Enriquez admitted this is easy for her to say because she was not the one who lost that huge amount from hard work. “We have no right to judge Kim. Hindi sya ang mali dito. Biktima sya na kailangan nyang magdecide for her peace of mind,” the former dancer said.
