In a recent It’s Showtime episode, Vice Ganda expressed gratitude to GMA.
ABS-CBN superstar Vice Ganda expressed how deeply grateful she is to the GMA network that welcomed and supported It’s Showtime.
Last 2024, “It’s Showtime” signed a contract with GMA to air on the Kapuso network’s main channel. This was a major milestone in television, which even the main host, Vice Ganda, described the event as something unbelievable. This milestone marked the end of the network war between two TV giants.

Recently, as the hosts celebrated the 16th anniversary of the noontime show, Vice did not forget to thank and appreciate the big help GMA has given their show.
Many have shut their doors on them, but GMA, through an open opportunity, immediately grabbed the chance to help them. For over a year now, Showtime has been airing on GMA’s main channel, and channelling her gratitude, Vice expressed her deep thanks to the network again.
““Since appreciation naman ang pinag-uusapan — maraming, maraming salamat sa GMA. Dahil kung hindi dahil sa GMA, hindi na tayo magkikita,” she said after receiving an appreciation award from the show for her great contributions in the show.
According to her, if not for GMA, the show and the viewers would be meeting on a different platform, but GMA provided them a bigger one where they can reach more. It paved the way for them to continue giving laughter and love.
“Pero ang GMA, hanggang ngayon, nagbibigay sa amin ng pagkakataon para ipagpatuloy namin ’yung relasyon namin sa inyo. At iyon ang pinakamahalaga. Maraming maraming salamat sa inyo, maraming salamat sa ABS-CBN, sa GMA… at sa Panginoon,” she added.
Meanwhile, due to a lack of budget, Showtime postponed their anniversary celebration and skipped Magpasikat. They were honest about this, but despite the challenges, they were able to pull it off and create new celebration activities that were just as entertaining as their traditions.
