Statement of Malacañang Undersecretary on Claims that PH Is Allegedly Hard to Love
Malacañang press undersecretary Claire Castro urged the Filipinos to give 100% love for the Philippines amid the supposed massive corruption issues.
Several officials of the government were tagged in the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption in the country. Senators, congressmen, and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) getting implicated into the flood control mess sparked the “Trillion Peso March”.

The Filipinos called for accountability from the government. The Palace recently reiterated the promise of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. that more individuals who are guilty of flood control corruption will be jailed before Christmas day.
Undeniably, amid the supposed massive corruption in the Philippine government, there are Filipinos who claim that the country is allegedly hard to love — “Pilipinas ang hirap mong mahalin”. Recently, the press officer of Malacañang spoke about love for the country.

Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro urges the Filipinos not to think that the country is hard to love. According to her, the country is not at fault and those who have mistakes are those individuals who are greedy of the fund of the nation.

Malacañang Usec. Claire Castro further encouraged the Filipinos to give our 100% love for the country. She stressed that what we should not allegedly love are the corrupt government officials.
Currently, amid the supposed massive corruption issues in the country, the Independent Commission for Infrastructure’s flood control investigation is ongoing. The ICI was formed upon the order of Pres. Bongbong Marcos.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos is set to appear before the ICI. He previously showed willingness to be investigated after Zaldy Co tagged him in the budget insertion issue.
Amid the corruption allegations of Zaldy Co not only against the young Congressman but as well as the President, Navotas Representative Toby Tiangco believes that Marcos Jr. is allegedly not involved in the flood control corruption.
