Motorcycle rider flees from a traffic enforcer and allegedly leaves his partner and child behind during the escape.
A motorcycle driver in Dagupan City is facing criticisms after CCTV footage showed him speeding away from a traffic enforcer and allegedly leaving behind his partner and young child in the middle of the road.
The incident happened at the Junction along Arellano Street in Barangay Pantal on Wednesday night, November 27, 2025.

In the video, a traffic enforcer can be seen signaling the rider to stop. Instead of slowing down, the driver suddenly accelerated and escaped, leaving the woman and the child who were riding with him standing on the road.
The quick escape startled many who witnessed the incident, as the enforcer was only performing a routine stop.
Authorities were immediately informed about what happened. The LGU has since reached out to the public, asking anyone who may know the identity or whereabouts of the fleeing driver to contact their office or the official Facebook page of the Dagupan City Police Office.
Local officials also reminded motorists that running away from a traffic enforcer is not only a clear violation of traffic rules but also something that puts lives at risk. Being in a state panic or impatience can easily lead to accidents, especially in busy areas.
As the investigation continues, residents are hoping that the incident will remind all motorists to practice responsibility and patience on the road. Enforcers are tasked to maintain order and safety, and cooperation from the public plays an important in preventing accidents and misunderstandings.
